This is the opportunity

You combine project management and business analysis skills to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of large scale enterprise systems and software development projects. You will work with customers to understand their business needs and translate those needs into product specifications.

You may have experience in the professional services or consulting areas of an enterprise software firm. You are an independent, hands-on, self starter able to work collaboratively with our customers and the Business Unit Director.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify business requirements and create business cases
• Capture and analyze software requirements
• Scope, schedule, and manage projects based on identified customer priorities
• Identify and apply technology solutions to efficiently address project needs
• Manage dependencies, risk, and change
• Understand customer needs and requests and ensure prompt response to customer issues

Skills and Qualifications

• Education: University degree in Computer Science or related field
• Business training or exposure to business processes is essential
• Commitment to continuously upgrade qualifications is an asset

Past Experience

• 5-10 years of professional Project Management experience (not day to day management, but project or consulting base)
• Experience creating S.O.W.'s, project charters, delivering and communicating to the stakeholders, reporting milestones, and project closures (post-mortems) etc.
• 3-4 years experience in the integration of enterprise class database and BI applications
• Advanced experience in business analysis concepts, tools and techniques
• Experience working with end-users to develop detailed system specifications and implementation plans
• Full system development life cycle experience
• Experience with testing and quality assurance of enterprise applications
• Familiarity with industry standard databases, XML, and Web-server applications and tools
