You combine creative thinking and excellent programming skills to develop on-time and on-budget enterprise applications for customers. You will work with both internal and external stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate those needs into requirements/designs specifications and code.

You may have experience in the professional services or consulting areas of an enterprise software firm. You are an independent, hands-on, self starter able to work collaboratively with customers and the management team

Duties and Responsibilities

• Capture and analyze software requirements
• Create technical designs and participate in design walkthroughs
• Implement technical designs as working enterprise applications
• Test developed software using standard methodologies
• Support developed software by assisting in deployments and addressing technical issues
• Learn required technologies, standards and methodologies as necessary

Skills and Qualifications

• Education: University degree in Computer Science or related field
• A Microsoft .NET Development certification is an asset

Past Experience

• 3-4 years experience in developing enterprise multi-tier applications (C#.NET, VB.NET)
• 3-4 years experience in application related database development (T-SQL, PL/SQL)
• 1 -2 year experience in Web development (ASP.NET, ASP) plus some ColdFusion exposure
• Experience with all aspects of the software development life cycle
• Experience working with end-users to develop detailed system specifications and implementation plans
• Full system development life cycle experience
• Experience with testing and quality assurance of enterprise applications
• Some experience with J2EE, JavaServer Pages (JSP) and servlets, enterprise JavaBeans (EJB)
